Yesterday was daddy's birthay and I made him a birthday card all by myself.

I celebrated my 3rd birthday back in May. Had a blast, Mom & Dad took me camping for the first time and it was awesome!!!!! I slept in a tent, run freely, went fishing, ate smores.( Mommy didn't have time to post pics before)

Summer Splash @ the La Quinta Library.

The La Quinta Library has been hosting their summer reading program. Every Thursday they have special guest.since I have to work closing shift and Todd doesn't bother taking Troy to see the shows, Troy only got to see the first show(i was off) and the last show(with daycare). I was able to get off early and meet them for the last fifteen minutes, it look like they were having a blast.

All by myself!

I am almost three and there are a lot of things I can do all by myself. One of them is getting dress every morning. Sometimes the front of my pants/shirts are facing back but oh well I still think I look good.

Another Troy story!

Todd: Troy have you brush your teeth?
Troy: No.
Ada: Troy let's go brush your teeth.
Troy: I don't want to brush my teeth.
Ada: Fine, sugar bugs are going to eat all your teeth and you are going to look funny.
about 30 seconds later
Troy: OK mom I want to brush my teeth.
I always let him brush his teeth first, he does a pretty good job himself, but at the end I always go over what he just did. This morning he did not wanted me to re brush his teeth again.\
Troy: Mom, why you do it again.
Ada: because I want to make sure all the sugar bugs are gone.
Troy: but I know how to do it myself, don't need your help.
Ada: I know you don't need my help, but I want to make sure your teeth are clean.
Troy: I'm big boy now you don't need to help me.
Ada: I know, but just want to make sure.
Troy: I don't want help beside you no dentist, dentist is the only one that can take the sugar bugs from teeth.
Todd & Ada: hahahahahahahaha
He is almost three, he dresses himself, wants to shower by himself, and now he doesn't want me to brush his teeth. Well I guess this will be another fight I would have to put up every morning and night because I would let him drees himself but I would still give him a bath and brush his teeth every day.

Mama took me to the zoo today. I got to see lots of animals, flowers, and different types of cactus. It was fun, but hot by the time we got home I was snoozing and I took a long nap.

Early in the morning Troy wakes up and goes in our room. Like always he jumps in our bed and demands for me to get up. This mornig he had one extra demand:

Troy: Mama get up I want juice.
Mama: hhhmmm ok I'll be up in a minute.
Troy:Ok.(he goes in to the living room, seconds later he returns)
Troy: Mama, my body needs juice.
Mama:huh?
Troy:I want to be big, big, big. My body needs juice to get bi!!!
Mama & Dadda: hahahahahhaha.

Dinner time

Troy: What you cooking Mama?
Mama: Teriyaki meatballs and rice.
Troy: hhhmmm, yummy yummy for my tummy. Is it ready yet?
Mama: No not yet. I'll call you when is time for dinner.
 30minutes later
Troy:Is dinner ready yet?
Mama: Almost.
Troy: My tummy is hungry, I need food to get big, big, big!!!!!!!
Again Todd and I just started laughing.

Happy St. Patrick's Day

Happy St. Patrick's Day. Today I had a blast at daycare my 'cool' daycare 'mom' really knows how to celebrate every holiday. As I walked in the house she was waiting for me with a big smile on her face(like always) and a new cool green wig. For breakfast she treated us to yummy Lucky Charms( we never get the sugary cereal), it was delicioso:) After we gad more fun but mom has no clue what we did, but she kind of has an idea because when she got home she saw my hands and feet were color in green;) Oh and yes she share her wig with me, it was fun.

Our lemon tree is blooming, it has all this white flowers and they smell so good. There are also all this little buzzy things that mom and dad told me not to touch because I might get an ouie.Mom and dad call them bees, well I gave thema new name "flowerflies"Last but not least, dad and I watch TV together, I love it when he sits with me and watches my favorite show(Yo Gabba Gabba). After I went to the store with mom and I was kind of good. I did found the candies but mom told me I had candy at home and that I was having a piece after I ate all my dinner, but she trick me there was no candy at home, but I did  ger to have trail mix for snack.
